Ready4success- returning back to work depends on person to person. I have an amazing crew of co workers that understood that I couldn't do heavy lifting, like pulling patients ect. That is the only reason I was able to go back to work that soon. Thanks for the complement. I feel that if you have the want bad enough you will make it work for you. I do not use energy drink or coffee. I think my workouts in the morning help.

Bethnc1970- I eat a lot of beef Jerky now. But when I was on soft or puréed I would make my meals and put them in small containers and take them. I still am struggling to get my Protein in. But that is all I eat at work. I take left overs from dinner or frozen hamburger patty and eat half at one sitting then the other half at another. Thing like that.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
