ItsGottaGo! 0 Posted August 15, 2006 I think I had the last of my preop testing today, hopefully I will get a surgery date this week. Today I went for the Esophogeal Motility Test (aka, Manometry). I was told by the tech that the sphincther muscle is somewhat weak, but she said the dr. had to look at the report to interpret it. I could tell it wasn't coming out normal from what they were saying while doing it. I am hoping that this doesn't effect my getting the band or not. Did anyone else have a not so good esophogeal motility test before surgery and was denied the surgery because of it??
