kdippy 36 Posted April 26, 2012 It's been a little over 4 months, and I have lost 62 pounds. I'm so happy with the person in the mirror. I hear everyday, look at you, wow. It's a great feeling, being able to do things, like ride a bike, or crossing your legs. I love all the new clothes. I don't regret any of it, and believe me I had some problems in the beginning, but I never got down. I believe, and that is why I'm so happy. I have about 50 more to go, and yes I have the stalls, and I want it all off yesterday, but, I will be happy if I was never to lose another pound, because, I feel great. 2 BlackBerryJuice and Lilajane reacted to this

ShoeLover 141 Posted April 26, 2012 That is absolutely wonderful! I have now gotten to the point that I am happy too. For a while there, it seemed like everything was getting stuck in my chest and I was miserable every time I ate. 1 kdippy reacted to this

Lilajane 3 Posted April 26, 2012 I got my date yesterday. It's June 4, 2012. I cried a lot yesterday and was really emotional. I'm scared and excited and I keep thinking its like going down a huge roller coaster( I'm terrified of them). I know once I get on, there's no going back and I know when the ride is over,I will be so relieved and yet proud that I did it,even though I was terrified. 1 kdippy reacted to this

lulublu 7 Posted April 27, 2012 @Lisa's hope, Having the sleeve has changed my life dramatically and so many others... it is scary, but hang in because you will be so happy! I went home after surgery and thought to myself "OMG what did I do!??" It is so incredibly hard the first month out (I was on Clear liquids for a month, and I know that not everyone is told to do that, but I was and was too scared not to follow the docs orders). You will feel crappy and want nothing more than to eat anything. I missed chewing so much I thought I would die! The thing is, it is only a month or two until you can start eating again and then it's all good from there. I am 9 months out and am 5 lbs from goal. I haven't restriced my eating at all and couldn't be happier with my decision to have the surgery. I feel great, look great and haven't been this weight since around high school. I feel so much more energetic and actually want to go out and play with my kids... I'm also actually excited for the pool to open this summer! Good luck to you and if you start to feel down after the surgery, just remember that it's going to get way better! 1 kdippy reacted to this
