jme53071 18 Posted April 26, 2012 Ll be honest, having a rough time. I'm told 2 out of 10 have bad swelling of the stomach afterwards. I am one of the unfortunate ones. Took my swallow test yesterday and nothing would pass due to swelling. I refused to have them remove my drain & IV. Too soon. Listen to your bodies folks. Don't let them rush you. Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted April 26, 2012 Yes, they do take the IV away too quickly. I was afraid that I would get dehydrated due to not being able to drink enough fluids.
