GivingItMyAll 168 Posted April 24, 2012 Just had my appt with the surgeon, NUT, and psych and now there are more tests. Ugh! Psych cleared me. Yay! NUT was just information. But evidently I now need a sleep study, an appt with the pulmonologist, a repeat lab, and an endonoscopy (sp). I know that all of these appts will help me have a successful surgery, but I wish I could have been working on getting them all in during the last month. :sigh: And to top it all off I found out today that I am pre-diabetic. This surgery can't come fast enough for me.
JDHenin 165 Posted April 25, 2012 Ah yes. During my 6 month pre op I had to do : cardiology, pulmonary , sleep study, psych, endoscopy, nut, visit my surgeon monthly. Lots of stuff. But at least I had all this done and I know where my health stands. I would never have had any of this stuff checked if I wasn't having surgery. Which I had already. Good luck!! kczar 166 Posted April 25, 2012 Good luck! It's a bunch of hoops you have to jump through but they all lead to a successful surgery.
