Hi, my name is Johni and I am 33 years old. I live in Salina Kansas and I am a mother to two wonderful children. My surgery is set for Aug 31, 2006 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Ks by Dr Malley. I am very excited! I have been lurking around here for quite some time and thought I would introduce myself. I have a long road ahead, I need to lose about 200 lbs. I hope to meet lots of new people on here and form some great friendships. Thanks, Johni

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! Sounds like you have a good idea about LBT and how helpful everyone here is. Join in on the August Bandsters thread and you'll meet some other wonderful people - they'll be your August band buddies.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
