ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted April 23, 2012 I am still stuck at 237 people!!!! I wanna be below 200 today! hi bigkim sorry you are at a stall now, but...... i don't know how far out you are since surgery- but a jump from 237 to 200 will take awhile, make small goals, slow and steady DOES wins the race my starting weight was 235, i'm down to 180 now - it took me 4 months. weight loss for everyone is different person to person - but yeah yeah, you men have an advantage over us ladies and you seem to lose weight quicker. even though we put our weight on "overnight" it doesn't come off that way weight will come off soon - we all have to be patient good luck kathy
CAsleeve 56 Posted April 23, 2012 I hear you sister! I am also in a bit of a stall. Going to up my exercise this week and do a couple days of juicing. If you want a kick start, but have it be delicious and full of nutrients, I highly recommend juicing a day or two a week, or even for one Meal Replacement a couple times a week. There is an awesome movie that promotes juicing - Sick, Fat and Nearly Dead. It is a great motivator and a fun and interesting moving to watch. I'm juicing today for all but one meal (I generally do 4-5 small meals/snacks a day. Today I have two different juices - 1. green juice = kale, romaine lettuce, parsley, apples, pears, lemon and fresh ginger 2. red juice = carrots, oranges and blood oranges. They are both super delicious, but you do need a juicer to make them.
isntsheclever 38 Posted April 23, 2012 Sick, Fat, and Nearly Dead is an awesome movie! So are my green smoothies! I'm 6 Weeks post op and haven't had any yet... I think it's time to try! I stalled Weeks 3, 4, and 5. It actually took an increase in calories to break it.
