NancyJerry 139 Posted April 22, 2012 What you can eat will depend on where you go. If you go out to dinner and there is either a buffet or menu, you can order Cottage cheese, Applesauce, Soup (eat around the chunks), hot tea/coffee. Some people here, during the mushy phase get to eat white fish, maybe that is an option for you? So glad you'll get to show off the "new you" to the old hubbies. I can't even tell you (this is going to sound like I'm 15 again), but I was only about a week past surgery so very near my highest weight, no make up, very, very comfy clothes and ran into an old boyfriend's mother. Why this could/would bother me, who knows. I haven't seen her (or him) in 18 years, but I cannot lie, it would have been nice if I had looked better. I KNOW her and that she told him she saw me. But it would have been great if she could have seen a skinny me! LOL. I mean really!! Who cares????? I'm happily married, but something about the old flames thinking about what they don't have.....:-) Have fun on your trip and congrats to your daughter!!
