daniellec 10 Posted April 19, 2012 I have been told approx. 40g per day is a good number for "low" carbs .
Mr_Worm 129 Posted April 19, 2012 Depends on the type of carb. Sugar carb vs other carb. I personally have been doing a zero sugar diet and its increased my weight loss tremendously (90 pounds in just over 3 months). This is essentially an Atkins diet. No bread, no fried foods, no soda, no sweets. Lots of lean meats steak, chicken, fish. I do all this with a max of 1000 cals a day with working out at least twice a week with a trainer at the gym
thebionicbroad 127 Posted April 19, 2012 Carbs should come from low-starch veg and a few berries. Sounds to me like you are rocking.
