Carlene 12 Posted May 25, 2007 Still and all, I sometimes miss one of the posters who was banned. She started some of the best threads on the whole forum!
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted May 25, 2007 I didn't even know they banned people here.
Evilah 1 Posted May 25, 2007 I tried to gracefully bow out but she wouldn't stop and her pals joined in. It was just bloody awful. I was stunned. Right after that I learned that she and some of her cohorts in crime were banned. I hardly knew what hit me. Several really nice folks PM'ed me and that kept me from fleeing forever. Bjean, I encountered a similar situation on another board. It seems every board has it's own pack of wolves. I got several PM's from others on the board telling me not to let them bother me, and not to leave. BUT! After some reading in that board's equivalent of the rants and raves section, I realized that most of the posters were very young ... not so mature, and not very knowledgeable. It's ashamed that people can gang up like this, and it seems to happen with all age groups and all sorts of people. Sorry it happened to you, glad to hear your opinion, even if it's dissenting, as long as it's politely put. Evilah
green 6 Posted May 25, 2007 AND ON TO BRIGHTER THREAD KILLING SUBJECTS... let's let the cheese age awhile So this is probably a male version of what I will look like at goal. How is that for depressing? Mmm, actually it's still better than where I've been. Now I know what the Flying Nun's son looks like.... I can die happy. Morsaille 4 Posted May 25, 2007 *laughing* I know, right? When I first saw it, it didn't really register and I thought the poor boy was melting. Then I was inspired with the idea of flight... flying squirrel style. Did you realize that if we wait to kill this thread for a page or so, some lucky bandster will have post #1000 on this train-wreck? I am reading a new book - "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver. Apparently you can make your own cheese! Mozzarella in 30 minutes! Cream cheese even faster? It might be worth a shot, at least a fun activity for an afternoon.
green 6 Posted May 26, 2007 Hmmm..... As it happens, I have enjoyed every Barbara Kingsolver novel I have read and I am deeply in love with cheese. In fact I got fat by eating cheese, lots of cheese! Weird, eh? I guess this thread cannot be killed!

Especially nice fattening blue cheese dressing. Unfortunately, these days it's fat free Italian with 10 measly calories per Tablespoon.
Carlene 12 Posted May 26, 2007 I have ENJOYED grossing out several friends with the kitty litter cake picture. I say let this thread live forever. Long live the sick and twisted. edie I think it's the subtle nuances that give it such realistic flair, don't you? The little kitty turds draped artfully across the edge of the pan are the perfect touch. Everyone who has ever owned a cat can appreciate that. They always manage to miss the pan and poop on the edge of the tray at least once a day!
Carlene 12 Posted May 26, 2007 I want to eat that whole cake. I wonder how much I would gain if I ate anentire cake. You cannot gain more than the weight of the item you eat. A five pound box of chocolates will produce a weight gain of no more than five pounds.
