A port is a harbor town or city where ships may take on or discharge cargo. A fill is a quantity that satisfies or satiates. A PB is a psycho bitch. The blood coming out of your ear is.. blood. Please do call the doctor. No, there is no problem with having a fever of 107.5, you'll be dead soon so um, forget calling the doctor. You should bypass the band and go directly to Stone Cold Creamery. A lapband is similar to a lapdog, only its on the inside. I think you can rest assured that even if your insurance covers the band, they will deny you just for the hell of it. A port is a harbor town or city where ships may take on or discharge cargo. What if their already flat? Gosh, it does look painful. I wonder if I can get some pain meds before I go? I am a mammogram virgin.

Ok, I am a DD, I had a mamogram 2 years ago for what I thought was a lump.. it was just fat.

But any way. It didnt hurt. Granted it wasnt comfortable. I kept waiting for that car on my boob feeling and it never happened.

GET YOUR MAMOGRAMS PEOPLE!!!!!

The first person to invent the comfy mamogram will be a billionairre.

I have to say, I want to hear zero complaints. Yes, women have pap smears, yes they have mamograms. Yes, they do have childbirth.

I'm trotting towards a time when I'll have to go for regular PROSTATE checks.

I know, I know. Your right. I have the paper from my doc in my purse to get one.

On another note, would you believe I've never been to Vegas? Have YOU been to Vegas? Don't get me wrong, I would love to go. Just have had the opportunity. Maybe I'll go for the Vegas bash thingy.

Everyone should go to Vegas at least once. It's a wonderfully exciting place with so much to do and see. Be prepared for the heat if you go in the summer though. Man it gets hot there!

Something that will always stick in my mind about Vegas is the rooftops of all the houses are the same. Well, they look the same to me. All that red clay tile stuff. And the streets were all lined with cinderblock walls that had that same pinkish stucco look as the houses did. To me, the only color was in the night lights. The last time we went there, we had a blast watching the mini shows they put on out in front of the big hotels. Amazing stuff. We were there with 11 other families on a mission trip with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) so we didnt really enjoy any of the gambling and drinking. hehe We stayed in a church, all of us slept on the floor of the church by night, worked in the community by day, put on presentations at night. It was only one stop on the month long trip. Very dear memories.

You should go if you get the chance. :)

Everyone should also ALWAYS get a yearly mammogram - the 'base' mammogram is VERY important (by age 40 if not sooner depending on your family history) -- go every year - they won't kill you - yes I have heard some people bruise - but I don't - us well-endowed ladies usually have the least amount of issues -- go ladies - it's that or you might find out too late - who wants to die from cancer when there is a way to catch it early?

did the thought of the big "C" kill the thread?

Now is a good time to share a picture of my grandson who spent last weekend with us. He always has a great time at Gram's house.

Having a drug addict/alcoholic grandma has its perks. :)

Oh, I have had a mammogram when I was skinny and when I was ummmm not so skinny...the one when I was scrawny hurt worse, but I would still never skip 'em. Good luck!

Maybe I'm not really psycho. Maybe everyone else is. Hmmm. :) Here's my before pic. OK, I'll let you be the judge.

I am definitely getting my mammogram by the end of Sept. I am making a commitment. We do have breast cancer on both sides of my family. It is a very scary thing. Gosh, I hope I don't bruise. I guess it can't be worse than a baby biting your nipple. :omg:

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
