BenisaMartim4 369 Posted April 17, 2012 I know. I have acquired a fear of food.. like an anorexic. I get all nervous and jittery just thinking about eating; sometimes to the point of near panic. I really, really hope it gets better soon. I am worried about my health. I do not regret my procedure, I just wish I could get it figured out and get on the road to feeling better. I am losing plenty of weight, I am just VERY weak from not taking in any calories. Best wishes to you
BenisaMartim4 369 Posted April 17, 2012 I just noticed that you are only a few days out (I misread your date). It is very common to be sick the first week or two. It usually eases up for most people. So hang on. I am just a weirdo. I had a ton of pre-existing health problems and it seems that maybe (who knows?) some of them may be making it harder for my body to catch up. Either way, it is too late to go back now, so I am doing my best to make the best of it. I really am loving the new bod..and so is my hubby See, there is a bright side to everything. twoboysandagirl 109 Posted April 17, 2012 Have you spoken with your surgeon?
Tigermeyer 0 Posted April 17, 2012 The sleeve could be too tight and you may have to go back so they can give you fluids until your better.
iegal 460 Posted April 17, 2012 I puked for about three months if I ate too quickly or too much. Slow learner on listening to my new tummy signals of full tummy. Are you puking even with mushies & liquids? If yes, contact your surgeon ASAP. Agree with previous poster, you need to speak to your surgeon and get some follow up. The scarring of the stomach internally may restrict anything other than liquid passing through. Be vigilant not to become dehydrated as this will put you back in the hospital quickly. Stacey Nicole 40 Posted April 17, 2012 I just threw up for the second night in a row for eating too fast. I was sleeved on 3/13 - 5 weeks out as of today. Im glad to know I'm not alone. And although I hate to throw up its different than I've ever experienced - it's just the rejected food and I feel brand new as soon as I'm done. I need to take things slower!! 1 BenisaMartim4 reacted to this
