notsochubbybritneyspears 4 Posted April 16, 2012 Hi, its been awhile since I have been in the boards and hope everyone is well. Since my surgery on June 20, 2011 I have lost 150 pounds -- my endocrinologist bitched at me for loosing so fast - lol anyway I am having low blood pressure as a result its 98/60 which isn't in the danger level yet but I still get dizzy when I stand up. Has anyone else had this problem?
twoboysandagirl 109 Posted April 16, 2012 Yes, that sounds familiar...but it kind of settled out when I stopped losing. On another topic... I am moving to Northern Virgina in a couple of months...do you have a group that meets in person? Most likely be living in stafford but looking for homes in Woodbridge too...would love some info on schools in the area from a real life person and not just stats on line. If you have any good advice for me I would love it!
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted April 16, 2012 Hey, I also have low BP most times, but recently found out that dehydration contributes to my BP also. So make sure your getting a lot of fluids in to avoid dehydration. I got really dizzy and it felt like there was a vortex coming down upon me. It was so scary. So now I'm trying to drink at least 100 ounces a day. It's difficult but doable. 1 Smexibeastmel reacted to this
