njs_star627 19 Posted April 15, 2012 Nerves aren't a factor yet. I'm sure I will feel differently when I check in at 5:30 in the morning. Today I am doing straight Water until midnight when I can't have anything else. I kid you not I'm sick to my stomach. The smell if food is making me sick I'm so ready!!! Kinda scared of how ill react from anesthesia since this is my first time going under "/

njs_star627 19 Posted April 15, 2012 It was rough, not gonna lie I did cheat one day and had a grilled buffalo chicken wrap. Then felt really bad and went back on. I was allowed to have crystal light, Jello apple sauce, icees, pretty Much anything Decaf, and sugar free. And two Luna bars a day. I lost about 9lbs during the two weeks even with the cheat
E-girl 98 Posted April 15, 2012 The anesthesia is the easy part. Most doctor's will say something like count backwards from 10 to 1 when they inject you but you'll be lucky to get the word "ten" out. The meds go in the via IV. Then you just wake up...you'll be cold but they have blankets that have been warmed. Don't forget to ask for a small pillow so you can cough. The coughing is normal but hold is tight to your belly then cough. It will still hurt a little but not as bad without the pillow. Good luck...and welcome to the club. topgun 63 Posted April 15, 2012 You're going to blink your eyes once and it will be over! Anesthetized sleep is different than normal sleep because you wake up with no concept of elapsed time. Best of luck, we're all on the loser's bench for the winning team, rooting you on!
