Any regrets of having most of your stomach removed that you can never get back and not knowing how this is going to effect you 15 or 20 years from now my grandfather had 2/3's of his removed thirty years ago because of ulcers and he is healthy as a horse at 72 and weighs about 160 pounds

Yep, no regrets. I wish I could take every one of my overweight friends and family members to have the surgery, too!

I am only 3 months out, am a slow loser, but absolutely no regrets. I too have a relative who had 3/4's of his stomach removed 30 plus years ago and did fine. He was chunky prior to that and thinner and healthier after that. He eventually sucommed to colon cancer. No sure if there is a correlation to that since within months I lost another cousin to colon cancer, I know that your colon needs Fiber so that's important to get it somehow. The best of luck to you.
