Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted April 14, 2012 I had. Some denial going on here. I thought since I was six months out with low blood sugar, my A1C being at 6. I could eat candy. So for a while I was eating mini candy bars. Not just 1, but 3. I was dehydrated and since I was in urgent care, I asked the doc to test my A1C and he ordered it. Well, the results came back and instead of my A1C decreasing, it went up to 6.3. My conclusion is that my diabetes is in remission and I can not be eating sugar. It's toxic. I know that I am addicted to sugar and it's my curse. I can not have 1 tiny bite of it. It's evil! So bad was I. I really need to control this!
Liberated Sleeve 148 Posted April 15, 2012 Yep, give it up honey! It's like saying I lost 50 lbs I can now have that hamburger with everything including the bread (well I could just once, but not everyday!) Learning tool

Doreykn 113 Posted April 15, 2012 Dorrie, When I have a craving for sugar I eat an Atkins Protein Bar. Peanut Butter Granola is my favorite or the chocolate Chip. High in Protein, low in sugar...
