How long after surgery were you allowed to take a bath? My Dr. forgot to answer that the other day and I want one bad!!! Lol

My doc said a week. I waited till all the glue came off.

My discharge nurse told me no submerging myself into Water i.e baths, pools, hot tubs, etc for 3-4 weeks until my stitches heal. Reduce the risk of infection. So until then I'll be doing showers only.

My doc said at least 10 days. Got impatient and hot tubbed on day 9. It was amazing.

Ok. It's been 2 1/2 weeks. All is healed from the outside. I'll probably get in.
