MiTurner247 34 Posted April 14, 2012 Im 9 days post op and I was able to start on shakes 2 days ago so I figured a little cottage cheese wouldnt hurt. I just use small curd fat free cottage cheese and traditional spaghetti sauce and heat it in the microwave and its so good. I can only eat about 1/4 c at a time and it takes me all of 30 min to eat it all but I really enjoy it.
southerngirl 51 Posted April 14, 2012 Hey! I think we can do cottage cheese next. It makes my mouth water!! I just started creamy Soups. It takes me about a half an hour or more to eat 1/2c! Lol I've also lost 20!!!! It hurts when I eat too big of bites or when I'm done. But not hungry. My head just tells me I want stuff. Beans are gonna be so good!! Glad you are doing so great! iwantobthin 8 Posted April 14, 2012 Congrats on the 20lbs! I can't wait to try the spag. Cottage cheese next week. It takes me forever to eat about 1/2 cup.. And it hurts in my chest too. Im guessing im taking too big of bites or going too fast. Its taking me time to figure out my sleeve. Im not hungry either, but everything I see on tv looks and sounds so good. I hope this next wk goes by fast so I can get me some beans;)

mrsnate 55 Posted May 5, 2012 I was told no cottage cheese until the puréed stage. I'm on full liquids now, but you could check with your doctor.
Michellefaina 45 Posted May 5, 2012 8 oz of Ricotta cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 1 large Egg, beaten 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning salt & pepper to taste 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave. This one is yummy... It's from Theworldaccordingtoeggface.com
