Drinking Enough Water Everyday

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Boy you are so right about this. And it is very painful. Just one more reason to keep drinking ALL your Water everyday.

Thanks and take care,

Suzanne

Not drinking enough Water can also cause kidney stones which are extremely painful! :(

Hi,

Good for you for learning your lesson. I think for me I have learned some of these lessons the hard way too. It truly is very important to keep drinking our Water each and everyday.

Thanks and take care,

Suzanne

I was just dehydrated and needed an iv. Lesson learned. I have drank 60 ounces today and will drink more. For a while I've been struggling with fatigue And a feeling of heaviness and so it's from being dehydrated. Even stopped weight loss. So time to drink my Water to cleanse my body. ;)

Has anyone experience waking up feeling dehydrated? I drink a lot of fluids in the day and when I wake up I'm dehydrated. I would really like to get past this dehydration. I don't drink caffeine drinks or eat candy. This is really frustrating for me. I am totally open to any feedback. ;)

I have a hard time doing that sip , sip so I eat alot of ice. Hoping that's helping me get my 64 oz in. Also I'm still adjusting to eating slow.

Hi,

The only thing I can think of is drink quite a bit more Water in the evening. I know that means you might have to get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But, that might be something that will help you.

Hugs,

Suzanne

Hi,

Boy, I hear what you are saying. I struggled when I first had weight loss surgery trying to drink Water and getting all my liquids in. What I can tell you is just do the best you can.

I now look at drinking Water as job that I have to do each day. It is like work and I need to work at it and remind myself to drink all the time. That is why having this tumbler with me all the time reminds me to drink. I enjoy the different flavors of Crystal Light, so that is what I am putting in the water. Give it a try.

Keep doing what you are doing, I know how hard the 1st few months were, but I promise you it does get a whole lot better.

Hugs,

Suzanne

Hi,

Yes, drinking enough Water has helped me learn a lot about hunger. I was also tired and had NO energy for a short period of time, and I found out I was dehydrated when I first started my journey. I also learned that mu postssium was low after they ran a blood panel and so I take meds for that. So it was a very simple fix for me. Water is an amazing thing and does so many great things for our body.

I have learned to carry a tumbler around with a lid on it and I am forever sipping water. I use Crystal Light for a different taste and 0 calories.

I am glad you enjoyed what I wrote.

Hugs,

Suzanne

Your right! It is a big help with with energy. Before my surgery, I would eat a lot, drink soda, energy drinks or tons of espresso shots in order to get some energy but now drinking water has somewhat the same effect without the racing heart beat or a crash later on in the day.

Crystal light has been a lifesaver since I havent been able to bring myself to drink anything else. I'm to nervous about the sugar content in all the juices.

What exactly is a tumbler though?

Hi,

A tumbler is a 22 oz. acrylic drinking glass with a lid and a acrylic drinking straw. It is a double walled tumbler, so I do NOT have any condensation from the class, because it is fill with ice and Water. I love it, it is red and I just always have it with me. I purchased a set of 4 ON LINE at QVC.

Thank you Suzanne for a good reminder. I'm almost 11 months post op and have always had a rough time with staying hydrated. This has already helped me today to focus on my Water bottle sitting on the desk, that I hadn't even opened yet.

Hi Nichole,

You will do better each day. After awhile we sometimes forget that we STILL need to drink the right amount of Water every day. I was one of those too, now I am not. The last few weeks, I have returned to drink more Water than I have for a long time. I even like the taste of water. But the Crystal Light for me really does make this a whole lot easier.

Keep up the good work.

Hugs,

Suzanne

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
