jenn298 36 Posted April 12, 2012 Ok, I was sleeved on 3/26 so I'm a little over 2 weeks out. I started my purees this past monday and I'm still taking in small bites and waiting between bites and my stomach is making the weirdest loud noises I have ever heard!! Is this something that will stop once I get through the food stages? Just planning ahead on when I should be able to eat around my extended family without embarrassment lol. mesaucedo 207 Posted April 13, 2012 It is very common, so I have read. Mine grumbles all the time and acts like it is a crazy thunderstorm or something. I just ignore it now. I had a few grapes last night and that got it really going!
BlackBerryJuice 349 Posted April 13, 2012 Yeah, mine would make ridiculously loud, prolonged, high-pitched noises. I'd have to bend forward and put my arms over it so that the other end of the lecture hall couldn't hear it - otherwise you could honestly hear it from 100 ft if it was quiet! It's calmed down since, thankfully.

BlackBerryJuice 349 Posted April 13, 2012 How long did it take for yours to quiet down Hmmm, I can't be too precise, but I'd say like 6 months post-op, it was definitely all gone. It was definitely worst in the first 3 months.
RhondaLynn 10 Posted April 13, 2012 I am 6 months out.. Mine still make the loudest, strangest noieses.... if I eat too much it back talks me even more. I don't think if will ever go away, especially when I over fill it. Rhonda
