Anybody 30 and had a bmi over 40 before surgery I would really like to hear some success stories

I am 32 and had a bmi of 42 prior to surgery. I had my surgery on 03/12/12. I had a two week pre-op diet prior to surgery as well. I have lost almost thirty lbs. Have you had your surgery yet?

I am 33 and started with a BMI of 40.2. I was sleeved on 3/20 and have lost 20 lbs. since surgery day, 34 from my highest weight. I had a one week preop liquid diet. My BMI is now 36.2 at 3 weeks out!

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
