Wow, that's a tough situation you are in. I'm sorry you have to go through all this negativity so close to your surgery date. Everyone was very supportive of me, but had some issues. My husband was supportive, but did try to talk me out of it a few days before my surgery. My daughter, who is 8, didn't want me to have it because she was scared. I have to admit. I think I was my own worst enemy in this one. I was second guessing the surgery and wasn't sure if I should go through with it. However, I knew this is what I wanted and needed. I was completely prepared, but just scared. I'm so glad I went through with it. I am 5 days post-op and my daughter is still mad it me. I figured that in time she will realize all the benefits that the surgery has made in me. I wish you all the best!
