lash44 313 Posted April 8, 2012 I am confused about the preciseness of digital scales. I did a side by side comparison with three scales. The Health-o-meter, Taylor, and Thinner where all placed on a flat level surface and calibrated as per manufacture instructions. All three gave different readings. The Health-o-meter read 185.6 lbs., Thinner reading were 183.4, and Taylor displayed 181.2. I really like the Taylor because it always read the less weight. They all were within 5 lbs. One point of note Thinner and Taylor are more sensitive as they indicate a change in Water weight, before and after bathroom visits. Just wondering do anyone else notice the inconsistency in scales. digital scales I am confused about the preciseness of digital scales. I did a side by side comparison with three scales. LindaS 316 Posted April 9, 2012 I have two digital scales, and they are pretty close to each other. The only difference is one is set to give weight and rounds to .5. The other is more accurate and rounds to .2. Still, the two scales usually are similar readings given the difference I mentioned above. One might say I was 185.4 and the other 185.5 because of how they are set up to work.

Caradina 65 Posted April 17, 2012 My digital scale changes readings if I move it around on my tile floor! I hate that thing!
