Furby036 60 Posted April 8, 2012 So there for awhile I was training with the c25k. I would do it every other day. Then on the opposite days of not training I would do lifting 2lbs weights because that is what I was told to use. So I decided to just walk at a brisk pace with 1lbs wrist weights. I have been averaging 2 miles a day. Is this good? Is using wrists weights good? Should I continue my workout with 2 lbs weights too? I'm 5'1" 218 and I am 28 yrs old. Any advice would be great! bigmanshrinking 6 Posted April 17, 2012 I was told by a fitness instructor that hand weights/wrist are bad for your shoulders and even ankle weights are not good for your joints...She recommended that if you do want to use weights to use the weight vest. To keep the weight as close to your chest and back as possible (snug)
