You just had your surgery... I wasn't released from hospital until four days because I wasn't drink enough of anything. Hopefully in a few days you will start being able to drink more.

My favorite Protein drink is a powder Protein in a blender with a tablespoon of sugar free pudding mix and either a tablespoon of Peanut Butter or 1/4 of yogurt, and I use skim milk

I had a few Protein powders I liked before surgery. After surgery I hated them and all the others I tried. I went through so much money finding something that worked. Luckily, I have a store called Nutmeg State Nutrition near my home and I went there for help. They are online - as a matter of fact they have a banner on this site. They sell a gel drink called proti - it does have 1 sugar. The gel goes into 8 ounces of Water and tastes like juice. There are several flavors to chose from and theyre all yummy! My cabinet is now stocked with them - They saved me! Good luck!

Isopure, IMO, is one of the worst tasting. Especially when mixed with Water. And I heavily doctor my Proteins with addins such as PB2, sugar free syrups, etc. I'm finding that the consistency of light soymilk is really agreeing with my sleeve, and it has fewer carbs than FF milk.

I'm 10 days out and still cannot get all my Protein in. I can do about 32 oz a day. So I doubled up the scoops, but then I could only do about 20 oz because of the viscosity difference. Including 2/3 of a 4oz Greek yogurt I managed yesterday morning, I probably got about 40 oz of Protein for the day. I'm ok with that for now, but really want to be around 60 within the next week. Every day it's a little easier.
