Flabby Arms - What Do You Do At Gym To Get Them To Go Down?

Recommended Posts

I sware I have legs for arms. I am going to gym 3-4 days a week to workout. I do the eliptical for 30 mins then abs 12 min circuit and weights with arms. Anyone have suggestions to get my arms down? I want to wear tank tops this summer.

Legs for arms - funny! Is it just loose skin or have you always had really "sturdy" arms?

I was watching the Biggest Loser and I was noticing their arm skin after they had their makeover. Unfortunately, the women all seemed to have loose skin under their arms. :( And those people work out 6 hours a day or something ridiculous like that. I have heard skin can firm up after a while, but it might just be the way it is. Sorry I don't have a magic cure idea.

What kind of exercises do you do with the weights and how much weight are you using?

It is unfortunate but number one, it is mostly genetics as to how your results will turn out. Second would be how much weight you need to lose and third will be the workout factor. Last but not least patience and time will help a lot too, as I've been noticing my batwings on my arms are slowly disappearing! I have really good skin and thankfully my arms came out pretty good.

I am not a strength trainer at all. The only form of workout I do on my arms are with my elliptical, a little bit of Pilates type body resistance movements and using a 10 Lb Kettlebell. Yet my arms came out really nice.

I bought one of those weights that attach to your arm (5 pounds each). I have been using them, for one week now, while I "power" walk. Do you know if those work?

I do believe lots of folks get good results with them. :) I'd say keep working them for at least a few weeks and see. If it does and it starts getting too easy it's time to either bump up the weight or walk faster. Good luck!

My arms are bad too. I've always held a lot of weight in them, they are way outta proportion to the rest of my body. I do all the arm machines at the gym, 15 pound weights, 3 reps of 12. I've decided I would rather my arms look like Hulk Hogan than what I've got going on now. I can see and feel the definition but ive got ways to go.

I do free weights 10 lbs doing a ton of different ways. I do the machines with 30-50 lbs 15 reps per machine. My arm a have always been heavy. I am loosing so well in my abs and stomach don't want to have these huge arms left.

I started using it 5 weeks after surgery. I asked my surgeon first and I felt like my body was ready.

Initially, she said that 10 pounds should be safe.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
