Recovery Drink/meal Help

Hey everyone, I know most of us have been told to do high Protein, low carbs but I have been doing research and I am finding info saying that a post workout recovery drink or meal should have a ratio of 2:1 carbs:protein to preserve and repair muscles.

What do you all use as a recovery drink or meal after an intense workout? I am torn on what the heck I should use as I usually do high protein, low to moderate carbs.

Yeah, you should have some carbs post-workout.

I usually have a Protein shake - either Muscle Milk or a homemade one with 1% milk as the base.
