What are you drinking/ingesting? Check sugar grams?

Sugar is the only thing I've really reacted to.

You'll be glad to figure out what's causing it, good luck!

Yes, I have to agree - you don't want to know  It's nausea, shakes, cramping... yuck!!

@realwmn - I definitely think it's going to be a process of elimination. As an example, I had an powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chocolate splendor shake with almond milk. I am allergic to traditional milk, but prior to surgery I had no problems with almond milk. Well ........... lemme tell you ........ those 2 did not mix well for me! Not more than 30 minutes later I was in the bathroom like WTH??????????? So, I have to figure out is it the milk or is it Unjury? or is it the 2 combined??

Of course whenever this has happened (maybe 2 or 3 times since surgery) I'm almost always afraid to eat :( for fear of being back in the bathroom... Even talking about it gives me the willies.......

Back to my safety zone which is herbal tea, and SF Popsicles...

My nut has said to never try more than one new food a day, so if u have a bad reaction it is pretty easy to tell what have you the reaction.

Add new things slowly so you can isolate the culprit. How many grams of sugar are in that non-dairy creamer?

In my coffee, I add some Muscle Milk chocolate.

My dumping came from a Protein shake that had something like 29 grams of sugar per serving. Ouch! Why didn't I read the label? Lesson learned though.

U get dumping syndrome with all wls... Some more severe than others... When that occurs it usually because of increased sugar intake.

My suggestion go back on Clear liquids and sample other times of Protein flavors... Mix with Water not milk also...

Hope that helps!!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
