krazigyrl 1 Posted April 1, 2012 I've been looking forward to this day. I was so glad to get off liquids. However, today was horrible. I started drinking Water and vomited (1st time that happened). Tried some canned pears in light syrup....felt like all 3 bites just collected in the back of my throat. I fought hard not to vomit it up. I tried eggs and Beans and they too collected in my throat...it's like that just get stuck. Any suggestions or ideas. Oh yeah and my mouth keeps watering. Please tell me how to correct this. I'm 3 weeks post.
Dooter 1,457 Posted April 1, 2012 I'd be putting that stuff in the blender. Sounds a little much for you yet, texture-wise.

Naaahhhh you'll get there. Don't worry. You only have one chance to heal. Do it right! Don't push yourself. The time flies by and you'll be chewing away before you know it! Lissa 2,631 Posted April 1, 2012 Your mouth watering is the classic symptom of the slimes. For me, it means that I've eaten too much, too fast. The key with trying new foods is to introduce a small amount of one food at a time, chew very well, then see how it sits in your sleeve. If something doesn't sit well, wait for a while to try to introduce it again. Soon, like Dooter says, you'll be eating anything you like!
