Yes, those were 2 of my favorite go-to meals once I got to purees - I used 2% shredded cheese with my scrambled eggs, and I would put the same shredded cheese, sour cream and taco bell mild sauce on my refried Beans.< /p>

My dietician says no refried Beans because they're starch until the 6 month mark. Boo! I love refried beans!

My NUT recommend retried Beans, along with my surgeon as a sleeve friendly mushy...I don't eat beans...but when I got desperate, they tasted mighty fine! I was worried about the starch, but in a calorie deficit...does it really matter? I <3 refried Beans now! Lol!

refried Beans were my first mushy and they were sooooooooooooooo good!! :) I can't imagine not being allowed refried beans! Half a cup is about 8g of Protein. Not bad, IMO.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
