Help On Protein And Carb Intake For Not Loosing Muscle Mass!

I have a question, with the liquid diet, how much carbs do you take? does your Protein Shake has carbs? as I know if carbs are not consumes, weight loss will be from muscle not from fat.

can someone inform me about this?

Well I can vouch for muscle loss while on liquid diet. My forearms,biceps, triceps, quads and hamstrings and chest took a big hit. But ultimately I know once I am down to goal I will pack it back on. I lost alot of strength also. Its just part of the process.

Now for a woman. Most women are weak and nonmuscular to begin with. So as far as dramatic muscular loss in their case i have no clue.
