Vsglass 17 Posted March 31, 2012 For those getting sleeved week of April 1 - Best of luck to you!! Can't wait to hear about how you are doing and about the wonderful transformations that are taking place for you. Remember, we are here to support you 100% preop and postop. Our journey has just begun . I don't know if this link will work or if this is the place to post it but thought, as my fellow "April Sleever Buddies" and I are on the cusp of major changes, I would show you a documentary that was shown here in Scotland a couple of weeks ago that I found interesting and encouraging. It is about a surgeon who investigates what makes some people fat and she starts from her personal view that we should eat-less-and-move-more and by the end her views have changed about what makes some people overweight and how they can be helped. It deals with Gastric By-Pass but the principles hold true for us "Sleevers" too I think. Interesting, particularly the sections on hunger hormones and stress. I found it encouraging, I hope you do too... www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01dzfgb (If you can't get this link it might be on Youtube. It's a called Horizon: The Truth about Fat) 1 atkinsoncl reacted to this
