dawg 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Figured I'd post this to give someone a chuckle, and possibly someone else a chance to voice the unforseen "odd" side effects of weight loss. Here's my very annoying side affect of losing weight: My BUM hurts. It appears that because I have refused to exercise (so no Buns of steel) and I now have lost a massive ammount of padding, I sit directly on my tailbone. This pinches and pokes the skin between the tailbone and my chair. Sad but true folks, weightless is a pain in the ass. :huggie: (now, if I could just get up and work on those buns of steel, I wouldn't be sitting here thinking about making people laugh over my painful tuckus....) CCBSTX 0 Posted August 9, 2006 Paul, ME TOO! OMG, this is funny! I look for padding, when I sit down (in restaurants). My husband thinks I should carry around a donut to sit on. I don't think I am in THAT bad of condition. Shawn
Tricia K. 0 Posted August 9, 2006 LOL...I've noticed the same thing! It hurts to sit on hard chairs, in the bath tub, etc. And, I still have padding on my butt! What gives?
AnotherMe 0 Posted August 13, 2006 And here I thought I was the only weird one! For some reason I notice it most when I'm driving, just can't find a comfortable position! I've analyzed it and in my case I believe the weightloss has made me have a more flat bum. So, I end up slouching in chairs, just to sit on more of the padded portion! OUCH! When you guys find a cure, let us other pains in the As_ know!! take care, Karla
"Just" Paul 1 Posted August 13, 2006 Me too. That is weird, thought I was the only one. My wife keeps telling me to go and look for my ass, as it isn't in my slacks anymore. Funny thing is, I used to have 2 asses in there (side by side). it is nice to be lacking in that area.:heh: BTW, Dawg, I sit on a pillow at work now, as my office chair makes me sore.:think
GayleTX 1 Posted August 13, 2006 Me, too! My butt if flatter than my husband's.....this is not the look I was going for!! I remember seeing girdles in medical supply catalogs that have padded bottoms....I never understood it before but now they are starting to look pretty sexy.
