Single, two months out. I'm 46 and never wanted kids or a husband to deal with.

Having sleeve done in December. I am 40 and have been single by choice for years. It would be nice to have someone occasionly but I'm so used to being by myself. I did get a puppy about a year ago and he brings me joy. But not quiet the same as a human hug! I have been too embarrassed by my weight to even want to date. Even after I loose the weight I know I will still have difficulty with my self-esteem. I just hope I will be more prepared mentally to allow someone to get close. Being alone for so long is hard to break.

In lou of kids, I have three cats. They're my kids.
