Let's Have A Tally On What Questions You Asked To Interview Your Doctor.

Recommended Posts

I have yet to actually interview the doctors i'm considering.. and i'm wanting to pull together a pretty good interview list so i can be as informed as possible. I Know some things may be more important than others but i think it would be nice to see what everyone is asking maybe there's something i haven't thought of.. so please list your questions here. THANKS!!

Here's a few of mine:

How long have you been performing the gastric sleeve surgery?

What are your complication statistics?

What happens if complications arise? How does that work with charges?

What kind of Preop tests do you run?

How many leak tests do you do?

Have you had any issues with leaks and if so what were the circumstances?

What is your post op care?

What hospital do you operate out of?

What kind of medicine do you use during the operation and afterwards?

I'm sure i could think of a few more but i'm throwing this out here so far.

Are you having you surgery in the States?? I am looking into possible self pay if my insurance denies me. But, all the Surgeons on my area are pretty expensive so I am also looking for a good Dr. with a reasonable price.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
