pasquini 369 Posted March 27, 2012 Ok, i have learned i am a goal person. I have been floundering since reaching goal. So i am moving on to physique goals. I am between 158-163 on most days. I want to add 15lbs of pure muscle. I know many say u cant really donthat with the sleeve. But i dont agree! I have soent the past two months getting my protien up to 125-135grm a day. I know i need to increase it to about 175-200 to really pack on muscle fast, however, I believe i can take a slower approach and get there. I thought i would begin keep track here so if others want to join me, or have advice/questions then maybe this phase of the journey can be helpful to others as well. :-) GodSpeed Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kemo46 82 Posted March 28, 2012 Hey Noel, that is exactly my goal now. I reached my weight loss goal but now I am going to lose a few more pounds to allow room for pure muscle. I have talked to my trainer and NUT and you are correct, it can be done. The Protein and weight training will do it. There are studies that agree and disagree with the way to approach it but my personal research and talking with guys at the gym has helped me with creating my plan. During my weight losing phase, I worked a lot on cardio and mixed in weight training. I concentrated on slowly increasing my weight and doing more reps. This helped with the toning. I am now going to concentrate on lifting more weight and doing less reps to build more defining muscle. Like I said, there are studies that agree and disagree with this plan but that is what I have found to work. I have increased my Protein intake before and definetly after my workouts.
