jn26845 8 Posted March 25, 2012 I will be haveing surgery with Dr. Kelly on Thursday and i was wondering if they provide gowns at the hospital and if so did they work out ok for you? I'm trying to only pack a carry on bag. Alos any ideas of things i should bring?
mesaucedo 207 Posted March 25, 2012 I am sure they will, I didn't go to Kelly though so I am not 100%. I forgot to bring a hot Water bottle for my tummy so remember that! It would have helped so much with soreness. Bring some comfy pants so you can walk without flashing everyone like I did for he first day I hope all goes well for you! cissiesue 119 Posted March 26, 2012 I know it two ladies that went to Dr Kelly, & yes, there are hospital gowns provided. One lady said she took two moo moos a sweat suit flip flops sports bras and comfy panties. They went shopping one day and she just threw a light short sleeved swrater over the moo moo. terrapin16 1 Posted March 28, 2012 Yes, the hospital Dr. Kelly is at provides gowns. I think I got the tip from someone on this board (maybe elsewhere, can't remember) to wear two: one that tied in the front and one in the back so I didn't have to be worried about being 'covered up.' Worked perfectly! After my showers the nurses knew to always bring me two Good luck to you.
Afro_Cyster 74 Posted March 28, 2012 The gowns I used were huge so I'm assuming that they'd fit someone up to about 350lbs. If you are larger, you could do what terrapin suggested. I also brought a robe because we all know how cold hospitals can be. 1 Tatersalad reacted to this
