Dooter 1,457 Posted March 23, 2012 So, I'm out getting my son some flip flops at Target (because I know they ALWAYS put them out in the winter for some weird reason!!) and I decided to pick up some workout shorts, because it's warming up here in the high desert and the Y has sealed windows, and they're cheap with the air conditioner. SO...I go to ask the lady at the fitting room-- "I notice they've redone the store- where has the plus sized clothing moved to I can't seem to find it." She says, "I'll come show you. Right here (pointing to a TEENY TINY rack) is some and one rack over here (small also) and over on that back wall there is a section." (the back wall section was approximately 4 feet long.) Mind you there is a SEA of clothing in this store. ACRES!! I guess all of their Isaac Mizrahis and fancy boy execs have decided that we are far too repulsive to spend money in their stores!!! Well guess what????? If I'm not good enough to waste space in their store buying plus sizes, I surely won't inconvenience them when it's time to buy AAALLLLLL new clothes!!!!! SO THERE!!! THIS IS FOR THEM: :P :P :P

alexeleni 15 Posted March 23, 2012 I find different Targets have different quantities of clothes in general and plus in particular--try a different Target, maybe! Seriously, though, that's stupid.
gmanbat 5,889 Posted March 23, 2012 The only recourse in my town was the Goodwill. I inherited some donated large shirts from the wrestlers at our town college which kept me through my tent years. No clothing stores in the huge mall near us stocked big and tall ..except Macy's, which I discovered too late. Now I buy in the "normal" section. 1 mylifeinpink reacted to this
WhoozisAnyway 176 Posted March 23, 2012 We have a new Target - and their plus section consists of a rack of tshirts, some sweatpants and leftover sweaters, all mixed in with maternity wear. The entire section would fit in the back of my small SUV. I love their clothes, but they don't love me!
IowaAndy 95 Posted March 23, 2012 Funny that you just posted this as I was just at Target about an hour ago and I asked they they would be carrying a certain item. I was told that they were going to be going through a major remodel of the entire store over the next 3 months and she could not tell me what they would be carrying at that time.....guess will have to wait and see. Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted March 23, 2012 I won't buy cloths at Target any more. I like Victoria Secret, Forever 21,Macys, Jc Penny's, Nordstrum's Rack. They're much prettier also. Hehehehehehe!
Soon2BMiniMommy 92 Posted March 23, 2012 Wow, that same here happened here to our Targets! They all remodeled and brought in groceries, and they cut out a BUNCH of other stuff to make room. I can't find anything anymore that they used to have!! They used to have lots of purses, wallets, etc.....most of that is gone. And the plus sizes.....fuhgeddiboutit.....all GONE! I completely agree with Whoozis above.....ALL of their collection can fit in my trunk! Very disappointing there lately.

gmanbat 5,889 Posted March 24, 2012 When I go through Walmart and similar stores and see the many customers there that are too big for any of their clothes I marvel at the lacking intelligence of marketers who ignore such a large demographic.
