bethiefish 3 Posted March 21, 2012 For the past few weeks I have been noticing a lot of unexplainable bruises. Has anyone else had this issue? They are not your normal small bruises, the ones I'm getting are huge and change colors drastically. Out of my entire recovery process this has been my only issue. Guess its time to head back to the doctors! 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this

Jack Fabulous 35 Posted March 21, 2012 I had a lot of bruising but it was because I was injecting an anticoagulant. I showed my doctor and he said to not worry. But if you are not injecting anything, then I dont know.
Merydia710 59 Posted March 21, 2012 I had several bruises on my stomach from the heprin shots they gave me. Which is a blood thinner. If they gave you a blood thinner before surgery and I think most surgeons do that may be why. Some of my bruises didn't show up for 2 weeks and they are just starting to fade I am 5 weeks out. Also some were huge like at least as big as my hand and others the size of golf balls. I would call your Dr. just to be safe. Just wanted to share my experience to give you a little piece of mind. How far out from surgery are you?
