gmadeline10 5 Posted March 20, 2012 I had to smile when I read your post. When I got out of surgery, my husband asked what my first real meal would be. This is easy...I've recently had a craving for grits and shrimp. Can't wait! 2 504chic and minniefaises reacted to this

Beyon Sleeve 57 Posted March 20, 2012 I'm a southern girl, so I love my grits too! Every Sunday I meet my brother for Breakfast at Bob Evans. I USED to get the "cardiac arrest with a side of diabetes". Now I get a cup (which takes me 2 meals to eat) of grits and 2 turkey sausage links (eat one, take the other one home with the grits). They also have a great veggie Egg Beater omelet that I get sometimes (only can eat 1/4 of it though). Have fun discovering "new" foods!

Amanda 3.0 140 Posted March 22, 2012 That was one of my first dinners out: a side of grits with a poached egg on top. It was wonderful, even though I could only eat a little bit! Thanks for the reminder as I need to make those at home.
