Okay I have had so much trouble with my pre-op diet so I thought maybe all of us putting together some ideas and tips to make it more manageable would be nice for all of those just starting it!

For me, what I finally figured out is that chewing ice helped tons! I'm not a Water drinker at all so having to switch from my very loved diet cokes to water has been a huge challenge, but I've found that in between drinking water I'll chew ice and that for some reason helps me out! Also, I've made crystal light and put it in an ice tray and chewed that so it feels like I'm having a treat instead of just drinking boring water! :)

Another thing I have done is using minty chapstick any time I feel like I am getting hungry. I don't want to eat if my mouth feels minty so that has worked well for me!

any other tips to share?

Chewing gum works too -_- and sugar free Popsicles are considered liquid according to my doctor.
