Broke My 3 Week Stall With.......... Onederland!

Recommended Posts

198!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been at 201 or 202 for 3 agonizing weeks. I am posting this for all the others enduring long stalls. I guess it really does finally move when it is ready! When you are only about 10 weeks out, a 3 week stall can really make you start to doubt things.

I think Onederland feels even more amazing since I had to wait so long for it! :)

For all the other stallers out there.... you are not alone and hang in there!!

Yup it sure does move. . eventually. . . I was in a stall which lasted 7 MONTHS! Horrible frustration, but it eventually moved. . .i guess it was the body's way of trying to catch up with the surgery. . hehehe. . . i was glad it moved. . not much, just 10 lbs but that brought me below goal. . . and I've been there ever since. . no gain and I'm now 3 years out. . .

Wow. 7 months would be more trying than 3 weeks for sure! Congratulations on all your success! Love seeing people still doing well so far out! :)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
