I Want To Run A Half Marathon!

I am walking now and will wait to see how I feel after surgery. I like having a goal. Re: half marathon... Knowing ahead of time that you will walk is realistic. Take your time and listen to your body. Were you an athlete?

I did the half marathon and yet I walked most of it I am very proud to have done it at almost 5weeks post op. I jogged a 1/4 mile every mile throughtout my 13.1 mile journey and completed it under 3hrs and 30 mins. I can't wait to do more :-)

Is there a forum for runners post sleeve?

I am almost 4 weeks out but I still have not gotten the hydration down. I am unsure how this will work when I start back running. I have been hosptlized for dehydration already and so I am not yet doing any heavy excersize. Any input would be helpful.

I had a bit of trouble drinking in the beginning and now I can pretty much gulp Water.
