I am 2 days out and have a grumbly sleeve. Every time I sip something the grumbling gets louder, then calms back down after 2 minutes or so. But it's a constant sensation. Anyone have similar rumbling?

Hey. I am four days post op and I too Have a grumbling tummy. I find if I drink 1 ounce of broth r Isopure it goes away for a Couple of hours. I was advised to just keep sipping Water every 10 or so to keep the full feeling and it should go away by next week. Hope it is true! Good luck!

I am on day 3 and have the same thing. My sleeve fusses about everything I eat or drink, which isn't much. I feel week and nauseated this afternoon. I don't know what to do.

I'm 2 days out. I didn't expect to be so sore. I'm having trouble doing anything. Not to mention the 10 lbs I gained at the hospital!!!

Yeah I can understand the weight gain. I gained about 4-5 lbs from the iv fluids. Hoping to get those off once I start getting my Protein and daily Fluid up. I wouldn't worry about it this early.

Yes. I still get that, not as bad as when I was first sleeved, but it's still there.

4 days post op. And yes grumbling is loud.. scared the crap out of my dog. Chest pains aka gas pains I'm managing with gas x strips. Haven't experienced weight gain. Actually weight loss I'm down 9 pounds as of this morning. But since I've only been on liquids since Monday I'm not surprised. Hopes are every day will be alittle bit better. It really is hard right now. But keep trying to tell myself in the end it will be sooo worth it. Especially helps talking to those going through the same thing.

Good morning guys I am two weeks out and can tell you the first week was the pits!!!! Believe me it gets better. I had the tightness in chest n my tummy made horrible sounds. I also gained weight from fluids in the hospital. I will be three weeks on Wed and I am no longer sore and the tightness in my chest is gone. I feel great. I dont think I was prepared for my first week but it does get better!!!

Yes I definitly say I wasnt fully prepared of what happens after surgery. Not that I didnt read about it. Which I did. But its almost like if you dont experience it you don't really know.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
