SleeveDreamer 383 Posted March 12, 2012 If you want a hot lunch, have 3 turkey meatballs with marinara & parmesan. What a good hot lunch and sooo easy! 2 CCWriter and sleeve 4 me reacted to this
Indymom 132 Posted March 14, 2012 I make homemade meatballs with lean ground beef . . . I find that the fat content is nearly as low as the turkey meatballs (so many of them are made with dark meat that tends to be a little higher in fat). They are a great meal though! Don't forget kids, the dark meat on chicken and turkey may be higher in fat, but it IS Omega 3's which we need for the brain! Fat that's worth it! 2 CCWriter and Liliana Arleen reacted to this

bikerchick519 202 Posted March 14, 2012 I buy a bag of turkey and pork meatballs from Schwan's. They have some spinach and mushrooms in them. I hate mushrooms but they must be ground up because I can't taste them. I keep a bag in the freezer at work. They are sooo good.
Afro_Cyster 74 Posted March 14, 2012 I keep mine in the freezer at work. It's good when I forget my packed lunch at home. I also eat veggie meatballs.
sleeve 4 me 910 Posted March 15, 2012 I wonder why I've never thought of this, I already make Albondiga Soup with turkey meatballs and it's super good. Thanks for the tip, can't wait to try it
