Liquids to help with constipation?

I am in the liquid phase and need some suggestions with liquid that will assist with Constipation? Prune juice or something else? Thanks, in advance, Drifter.

Do you have something like "Benefiber" in the States, I am from Australia, this powder does not thicken up like metamucil and its perfect to take on the liquid phase. Other than that, you can cook up some prunes and puree them and add a teaspoon or two to your Water or whatever. HIH

I cut up an apple yesterday and made a smoothie with it, using milk, vanilla Protein Powder (probably would use Water next time...) and an hour or so later I was relieved of Constipation. So, maybe try blending up pieces of apple, add a little water and have fresh apple juice. I don't care for prune juice, so I was happy it worked.

I drink a glass of prunce juice daily and still have some problems with Constipation. I'm going to try that Benefiber stuff.

Yeah, we have the benefiber here, it works well.

But are you truly constipate? I ask, because it kind of goes liquid in/liquid out, so it may just be that there is nothin' there...

Other than that, lots of people swear by prune juice, and apple juice to get things moving also.

How much prune juice do you need to drink to get things moving?

An 8 ounce cup a day?

8 ounces should be plenty. My DH drinks 4 oz every night. He warms it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
