vampsy 29 Posted March 11, 2012 I was sleeved on 2/15. I was having horrible Constipation issues along with vomiting here and there. On Friday I felt really tired. I had absolutely no energy. Everyone kept telling me that at three weeks out, this was normal. But it got really bad. I started vomiting anything I tried. Protein Shakes, Water, Jello. I started getting chills. My husband couldnt take it anymore and insisted I go to the ER. Well... I was admitted. I have obstructed bowel, inflamation of the intestines, a bladder infection, and a urinary tract infection. Sending me home today with antibiotics and back to phase 2 diet. Darn Lesson learned... listen to your body

vampsy 29 Posted March 11, 2012 Wow!!! What did they say was the cause of the obstruction? Was it an impaction or something else? Yes, they think it was caused by impaction. But i was taking milk of magnesia and thought it was helping. I guess I was wrong. Doc told me some people are sensitive to abdominal surgery causing the intestine to become more narrow. This makes it difficult for the bowels to move. He said it was nothing I did. Just happens for some people. Good news is that the cat scan showed my new tummy is healing nicely.
