adrimc26 7 Posted March 11, 2012 I guys I'm getting a sleeve but have been thrown back by my friends comments, have you gotten pregnant after the sleeve I know I gotta wait and I will but things like food intake for the baby and weight gain after pregnancy worries me, what about infections? VJSlim 156 Posted March 11, 2012 Not me personally, but I spoke to several of my doctor's patients who had VSG and got pregnant after 2 yrs or so. In my research I found that the weight loss actually helps with fertility. And I know a few members of our forum are actually pregnant now -- I read few threads by them, but the names escape me at this point. Pookeyism 1,143 Posted March 11, 2012 One thing I can say is Vitamin deficienies during egg maturity and conception and especially the first few weeks before you would even know you are pregnant can be extremely bad - life altering bad - for a child. I wouldn't leave it to chance - make sure your blood readings are perfect, and be sure you have addressed all the issues adding a child will bring. Just my thoughts I guess I should add.
