I am 5 day post op. The pain in the hospitol was unbearable. Getting in and out of the bed was horrible. I was fine as long as I laid still. It was difficult to drink but now I am tolerating Protein Drinks, Clear Liquids, cream Soups. The key is taking small sips and waiting a minute or 2 between each. My doc also is allowing yogart, pudding etc but I eat very little of it. I add Protein Powder to my soups.

All of a sudden I feel much better. My stomach makes crazy gurgling noises but really no pain. I apply a heating pad in the evening.
