Iliana82 84 Posted March 10, 2012 Omg I was sleeved a month and 2 days ago. I suffered from amenorrhea (no periods)due to PCOS. Guess Who came this morning after years being MIA? Aunt flow! I know it sounds silly but I am so excited! My pipes work! Thanks to the sleeve!! 3 Aussiegirl, Julie76 and Nina88 reacted to this
mnbsleeve 87 Posted March 10, 2012 That's great Iliana! I have PCOS too! Everything went a little haywire for me after the first couple of months - mostly very, very light cycles. But then everything just normalized! I'm quite a bit older than you though. I bet this is going to be sooooo great overall for your hormones and body!!! I'm really happy for you!!! Don't freak if things come and go for a while. Lets keep rocking our sleeves! :-)

jwelk 10 Posted March 15, 2012 Yay!!! I have PCOS and im so excited for you! Do yall know if loosing weight will shrink the cysts on the ovaries? I have a 4cm cyst and a 6cm cyst on mine! I hope loosing weight will let them shrink and not rupture, if the can rupture.
SlevieNicks 9 Posted March 17, 2012 I'm hoping after surgery I start mine. I barely have periods and if I do it's just light brown spotting. I want babies so bad! I've gone to a few doctors but they just told me I'm fat (nice huh) and I had an ultrasound which didn't show cysts but my sister has PCOS and I have every symptom. Facial/body hair, no periods It sucks!

Facial/body hair' date=' no periods It sucks![/quote'] I too have facial/ body hair and no cysts but somehow pcos. I got my period today without having my gyno "jump start" it. I'm two weeks post op. but I was told that anesthesia would effect my period, I just brushed that to the side. But it gives me hope of babies without ivf. . . Nina88 73 Posted April 9, 2012 Stellachick, I have the same problem pcos but no cysts. Check out a show (youtube) mystery diagnoses episode "the bearded lady" I tried telling my doctor I may have the same and he dismissed me. Anyways I take Maca, to help balance my hormones. stellarchickgr33 3 Posted April 9, 2012 Yea I get my hormone levels check very often and they are always within normal rage. The doctors just always say its not your hormones alone that dictate your Hair growth. It's the way the follicles respond to the hormones. Ha laser hair removal had been doing its job.
